HID ballast inspection standards ( enough to reflect the performance and benefits )
1 , lighting start the test
a, the standard voltage 12.8V input should have lit the lamp flicker .
b, the input voltage is 12.8V standard light bulb cold start when the instantaneous current should be about 6.5 ;
c, the input voltage is 12.8V standard hot start instantly lit the lamp current should not exceed 8A.
2 , instant high / low voltage overcurrent protection test
a, Ballast input voltage is set between 8-22v normal start ( voltage error should be ± 1v or less ) ;
b, when the input voltage is below or above the 22v ballast 8v should automatically stop working ( voltage error should be within the ± 1v);
c, when the input voltage is restored to 8v more or less ballast 22v automatic restoration work should be ( voltage error should be within ± 1v)
3 , install protection test
a, when the ballast bulb is not connected , is unloaded, the ballast should automatically stop working to avoid high voltage damage.
4 , short circuit protection test
a, ballast for the short circuit at the output should stop working automatically to protect the ballast from damage.
5 , reverse polarity protection test
a, ballast input power supply positive and negative reversed should stop working automatically to protect the ballast from damage.
6 , constant power test
a, when the input voltage is 8-22v , the ballast can be kept at a constant output power 35W ( plus or minus deviation of not more than 3W) about HID protection from damage .
7,1 m / second power test
a, hundreds of thousands of times in a row off the ballast / lamp operation can not fail ; production tests should be continuous power / lighting will not fail the test 500 times .
8 , high and low ambient temperature operation test
a, ballast at ambient temperature -40 ¡æ ~ +150 ¡æ both can work for a long time .
9 , Quick Start Performance Testing
a, power input voltage to start the lamp voltage is not less than the standard voltage 12.8v measured about 6.5A, so that the xenon lamp start within one second , luminous flux up to 20 % of the standard brightness , luminous flux up to the standard brightness within 4 seconds 80% .
10 , long lamp experiment
a, ballast must meet with the battery power input uninterrupted lighting 24 hours without failure
b, must achieve 12 consecutive hours a day, continuously accumulated 10,000 hours without failure.
11 , the working temperature
a, ballast shall meet the often time work status surface temperature should not exceed 40 degrees.
12 , shock testing
a, ballast work under the experimental apparatus to the vibration frequency of 10-45Hz, amplitude vibration environment 2-10mm , the three directions X / Y / Z axis 8 hours without any trouble ;
